On October 18, York Sunbury Search and Rescue (YSSR) co-led SAR Resolve 2025, a large-scale mock search and rescue exercise held at Mactaquac Provincial Park. The event marked the first major exercise of its kind organized by YSSR in several years and brought together regional emergency response and public safety partners to test their collective capabilities in a realistic operational environment.
YSSR is proud to be working with many of the other all volunteer GSAR teams in New Brunswick to launch our online 50/50!
The proceeds from this 50-50 draw will help us save lives, by giving our members the equipment and training they need to respond when called upon. Ground Search and Rescue teams in New Brunswick are entirely made up of volunteers and are not part of the government.
Help us save lives, join us for a screening of the true story in Where the Rope Ends and support your local all volunteer SAR team
Bottle Drive! We’ll be doing a bottle drive on April 10. You can drop off your returnable bottles and cans at Home Depot or Pizza Delight Northside between 8:30am and 12:00pm. You can also drop them off at the YSSR bins at Southside Redemption Centre and skip the line! We’ll be doing local pickups by prior arrangement only – please contact Michelle at 506-206-5071 to arrange a pickup.
We so appreciate the support of our community, and can’t wait to see you!
